AARGOS Terms of Use

Effective date: August 25, 2026

1. What this is

These terms are an agreement between you and GeoRiot Networks, Inc. ("GeoRiot", "we", "us"), the company behind Geniuslink, covering your use of the AARGOS browser extension.

By installing or using AARGOS, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it, and if you have already installed it, remove it.

AARGOS is a separate product from the Geniuslink Services. If you also use Geniuslink, that relationship is governed by the Genius Link Terms of Service, not by these terms.

How AARGOS handles data is covered separately in our AARGOS Privacy Policy.

2. What AARGOS does

AARGOS reviews how your Amazon Associates account is set up across the countries you operate in, tells you what looks broken or incomplete, and offers to help you fix it.

It works by reading pages you are already signed in to, in your own browser. It never asks for a password, an API key, or any other credential, and it cannot reach anything you could not reach yourself.

AARGOS is provided free of charge. We may change it, or stop providing it, at any time.

3. Changes AARGOS makes to your accounts

This is the part worth reading carefully.

Some AARGOS features do more than look. They can create a tracking ID in your Amazon Associates account, add that tracking ID to your Geniuslink account, add websites to your registered sites list, or accept an offer Amazon has made you. In one case, replacing a tracking ID that Geniuslink already holds for a country, the change involves removing the existing entry before adding the new one.

How your permission works

  • You approve each action before it happens. AARGOS shows you what it is about to do, on which account, and waits. Nothing is changed in the background, and nothing is changed on a schedule.
  • You can stop at any point, and the steps already completed stay completed.
  • AARGOS acts as your agent, doing what you could do by hand. It does not obtain any authority of its own over your accounts.
  • Some steps are deliberately yours. Creating an Amazon account, completing a CAPTCHA, and entering payment or tax details are handed to you on purpose. We do not automate them.

What you are responsible for

  • Your accounts remain yours. You are responsible for what is in them, for the agreements you have with Amazon, Geniuslink, YouTube and anyone else, and for your own compliance with them.
  • In particular, the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement is between you and Amazon. AARGOS helps you carry out actions within it, such as joining programs, registering the sites you actually publish on, and adding required disclosures. It cannot make you compliant, and it does not assume any obligation you owe Amazon. Reviewing what AARGOS proposes before approving it is your call to make.
  • You confirm that the information AARGOS submits on your behalf is accurate. Where a form asks something only you can answer, such as what kind of business you run, which sites are yours, or whether content is directed at children, AARGOS will ask you rather than guess, and the answer you give is the one that gets submitted.

Where the risk sits

Actions AARGOS performs are actions you asked it to perform. We take reasonable care: every change is verified by re-reading the page afterwards, and the result is shown to you. But we cannot guarantee a third party site will behave as it did yesterday, and we are not responsible for the consequences of a change you approved, including any decision Amazon or any other provider makes about your account.

4. How you may use it

Use AARGOS for your own accounts, or for accounts you are authorized to manage.

Please do not:

  • Use it on accounts you have no right to access
  • Use it to break the terms of Amazon, Geniuslink, YouTube or any other service
  • Take it apart, rebuild it, or resell it as your own
  • Interfere with it, or use it to place unreasonable load on anyone's systems

We may stop you using AARGOS if you do any of these.

5. Other people's services

AARGOS works alongside services we do not control, including Amazon, Geniuslink and YouTube. Their terms govern your relationship with them, they can change without warning, and when they do, parts of AARGOS may stop working correctly until we catch up.

We are not responsible for those services, their availability, or what they decide about your account.

6. No warranty

AARGOS is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that everything it reports will be complete or correct.

It is a tool to help you look at your own setup. It is not financial, tax, legal or compliance advice, and figures it estimates, including any estimate of money you may be missing, are estimates rather than statements of fact.

Where your jurisdiction does not permit the exclusion of certain warranties, those warranties are limited to the greatest extent allowed by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost earnings, lost commissions, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from your use of AARGOS or your inability to use it.

Our total liability for all claims relating to AARGOS is limited to the greater of (a) any amount you have paid us for AARGOS in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

Where your jurisdiction has rules on waiver or liability that conflict with the above, our liability is limited to the greatest extent that law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Ending it

You can stop using AARGOS whenever you like by removing the extension. That deletes the information it stored on your device.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering the product.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will say so in the extension before it takes effect. Continuing to use AARGOS after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without effect given to conflict of law rules. You and GeoRiot submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in King County, Washington for any lawsuit permitted under these terms.

Arbitration and waiver of class action

Please read this, because it affects how disputes get resolved.

If we cannot settle a dispute informally, both of us agree to resolve it by binding individual arbitration or in small claims court, rather than in court generally. By accepting these terms you waive the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in any class or representative action.

Arbitration is administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Nothing here prevents either of us from bringing an individual small claims action, pursuing a complaint with a government agency, seeking injunctive relief in aid of arbitration, or filing suit over intellectual property infringement.

You can opt out. Within 30 days of first accepting these terms, send written notice with your full legal name, the email address you use with us, and a statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Once we receive it, the arbitration agreement is void for you and disputes are resolved under the governing law section above. Send it to: General Counsel, C/O Geniuslink, P.O. Box 47406, Seattle, WA 98146.
